At Daniel R. Spirer Jewelers our goal is to create a lifetime relationship with each customer by offering unique, custom jewelry designs coupled with a lifetime warranty. Engagement rings, wedding bands and a selection of 18k gold and platinum, handmade necklaces, pendants, pins, bracelets and earrings can be found in the store at all times. Using only the highest quality gem materials, Lazare Kaplan ideal cut diamonds, natural color and heated rubies, sapphires, fancy color sapphires and an assortment of other fine gems including South Sea pearls, tourmalines, opals and fresh water pearls give our fine jewelry designs a distinctive look. Most designs are available in environmentally sound recycled gold.

Utilizing a variety of techniques Daniel can create mixed metal pieces in combinations of 18k yellow, white and pink gold and platinum including some designs utilizing the Japanese metal layering technique mokume gane.

Short Bio

Daniel R. Spirer, G.G. began making jewelry over 35 years ago. He is a Graduate Gemologist and a leader in the retail industry on the issue of gemstone treatment disclosure. He is a member of the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) and served on their first retail affiliates board for one year. From 1982 - 2004, he was a partner in Spirer Somes Jewelers and in late 2004 he opened Daniel R. Spirer Jewelers, LLC.

Combining a fascination with both the artistic and scientific, Daniel has produced jewelry for over 30 years that is both unique and distinctive. A passion for colored stones and their proper identification, the use of extremely high quality gem materials, diamonds and metals, and the desire to have fun have allowed him to produce both whimsical pieces based on a great interest in the vast realms of the universe and extremely functional basic jewelry such as wedding bands and engagement rings. Custom work utilizing a customer’s ideas is a specialty but the range of work shown in the shop is extensive enough that often people can find something appealing already created.
